I am beginning an exploration of the theme of the fear of the LORD in the Wisdom literature of the Old Testament, starting with the book of Job. I assembled these quotes in a wave as I read through “The Fear of God,” chapter 10 of Murray’s Principles of Conduct since I am using this as one of my sources for my Ethics research paper. There’s a lot of good stuff there, so I thought I’d share it here.
